Mask Paradigme
The White Collar Project
From Foundation Seven — The White Collar Project Collection
Digital composition on printed canvas
60 × 90 cm (24 × 35 in)
2024

The ultimate meta-statement: a suited figure stands within the manifesto of The White Collar Project, masked and framed by infinite geometric recursion. Mask Paradigme asks whether we are viewing art—or peering through art at ourselves.

Striped corridors stretch into a visual echo chamber while the central figure remains defiantly corporeal. His surgical mask—icon of a pandemic epoch—functions as shield and stage, anonymity and identity fused in one gesture of contemporary survival.

Here the white-collar worker becomes both subject and audience, creator and commodity. Patterns don’t merely surround him; they perforate reality, turning concrete into concept and space into statement.

The mask recalls our collective performance: Zoom-framed professionalism, curated personas behind digital barriers. Text declares its own presence while the figure embodies its meaning.

Part of Foundation Seven, this work captures a singular instant of self-awareness—art conscious of its artifice, and the viewer recognising their own reflection within the frame.
